Eight monitors lined up

if i am using four nvidia cards and have eight independent monitors attached to the DVI ports

i wish the monitors to be lined up from left to right on a single desk like this:

1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 all horizontally aligned

will i be able to move my mouse from extreme left at 1 to all the way to extreme right to 8 ?

in the process crossing the 2-3-4-5-6-7

is such a arrangement possible in Vista 64 bit?

That would be correct. Though you are much better off grabbing 3 ATI cards, as they support Eyefinity (the ability to do 3 monitors on a card instead of 2).
