How to remove cyclic redundancy check

One of the causes of a CRC error message is a corrupt or damaged file. I suggest you run CHKDSK /f /r at a command prompt.
Click on Start
Click on Run
Type cmd
Press Enter
At the command prompt type: chkdsk c: /f /r
The /f attempts to fix errors on the disk
The /r attempts to recover readable information
