Hi All,

I've had the ASUS M4A79XTD EVO for a while now, but made the mistake of not researching my RAM very well before I bought it. I ended up getting a few sticks of OCZ Obsidian 4GB OCZ3OB1600LV4GK

It doesn't have the best reviews, and some of the comments talk about it only being compatible with i5/i7...

I haven't been able to overclock my Phenom II x6 1055T even though my temps are low and I have a good board and a massive cooler. I'm guessing it is because of the RAM.

Can anyone recommend compatible RAM for this board? I've also read somewhere that it helps to have higher voltage RAM on this board... would this do the trick?:

rated at 1.9v !

RAM is so cheap right now, I want to pick some up before the prices go up again... preferably 2x4 1600 that handles CPU / FSB overclocks well.

Thanks,
D
