Problem with video output from Imax D3413

Hello,

For some reason it seems that my graphics card (GeForce 8400GS)has given up. I cant get a video output at all, either from the DVI or VGA port. I would like to know if I replace the graphics card, will vista detect it ok, evn though the drivers from the previous card will still be installed? (The onboard graphics are disabled btw)

Yep, Vista might not immediately recognize the new card though. What it does is run the OS on a generic VGA driver, which lets everything load. For maximum performance however you'll need to install your card's actual drivers. Hope this helps!
