Is this a good deal?


I'm looking to buy a laptop. I found this deal at nebraska furniture mart.

Its $550. Is this a good deal? I dont want to spend any more than this really.

My main complaint about the old desktop that I have is that when I try and play the games on Facebook it goes really slow. Does the same with some other games that I've put on it. Any suggestions? comments? anything will help!

  1. I would check out their return policy before purchasing. I would also check newegg or and see if they carry the same model number. Newegg sometimes has customer reviews. Whatever brand you buy, if it doesn't come with a recovery cd, be sure to get a blank dvd and create the backup dvd as soon as possible, in case your drive fails. I don't recommend gaming on most laptops. It puts the cpu under load, increasing temps. And any onboard video is going to be slow compared to a separate video card. When your laptop reaches a certain temp, it can freeze up. Laptop coolers are sometimes available for a few dollars. If you want to try gaming, get one. You can order them from newegg.
  2. Lowest price I've seen for the 17" screen w/500Gb drive.
    I just question, oh well. I wouldn't buy a couch at Micro Center, jmo.
