ATI Radeon driver problem (Vista)

I recently upgraded to a an X1950 pro pci card from an integrated card. I installed the latest drivers but oblivion doesn't look quite right and hydravision is telling me there is no ati driver in the system.
Is there a way to tell if the driver is installed and loading properly? Also, Is there a difference between the ati wdm driver and the normal one?

Careful don't just download the drivers, make sure its for the drivers for your operating systems - that is windows XP 32 or 64bit or Windows Vista 32 or 64bit.

I'm using the vista 32-bit driver which is the correct OS.

Edit: Dig some digging and ati dropped support for the x1950 series after 9.2 or 9.3 catalyst. Would be nice if the website could reflect this somewhere and not direct people to bad updates.
