Garbage collection

I need a solid state drive that has built in firmware level garbage collection.

i need it because i'm going to be using an operating system that does not support trim.


as i shop around newegg for a ssd i noticed i have not found one that actually says garbage collection under their details.

is ok to assume that in this day and age all ssd have built in gc?

which ssds are 100% known for having gc

Yes. All SSDs have Garbage Collection. Different manufacturers use different techniques to implement it.
