I deleted the usb + cd-rom icons in "my computer"

Hello,I deleted the drive icons from drives E,F,G,H,I.I've been trying to restore them but no idea how.The computer wont acknowledge my flash drive even.I need help,please.

As far as the flash drive goes you may need to check it on another computer to verify the flash drive is not the problem. Just out of curiosity, why and how did you delete the drive icons?
