Lexmark printer 5600 series

Hello,
How do I get the Cartrages centred so I can change them? It use to centre when I would open the printer but it doesn't do that now. Something seems to be wrong , should I remove and re-install the printer?

No, that process should happen regardless of whether the printer is connected to the computer, so if it's not happening, then you'll need to take it somewhere to be fixed. Or just get a new printer, since that will almost certainly be cheaper.
