Suggest a TV tuner card for me, Please.

Hi, I want a tv tuner card to use comcast cable on my pc. price $75.00 or less?

my system:
Dell optiplex 740 mini tower
Open card slots: (1) pci-x 1. (2) pci.
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual core 6000+ 3.0 GHz.
Video card: Nvidia 7200 gs 512MB. on pci-x16 slot
Onboard video Nvidia Nforce 57XX
Op. System: Dual Boot, Win 7 Ult. 64 bit, Win XPP 32 bit.
HDD: WD 640 Black Edition Sata for systems
HDD: WD 80 GB Sata for backup
PSU: Zalman 600 watt W/Heatpipe
Drive: Pioneer 218L DVD Sata
Drive: HL-DT-ST DVD Sata
8 GB Ram
Note: Win 7 has Media Center.

I would like some choices for best bang for the buck and being able to watch and record cable tv on pc.

Hauppage 2250 is the best HDTV dual (hybrid) tuner in the last 1.5 year. Both HW and SW are solid at HP and Windows Vista. The software package that comes with it works well with Windows. The hardware works well with Windows Media Center. It works as PVR and DVR. It records 2 HDTV shows at a time. Hybrid Tuner can take care of Analog and HDTV.

The Cards from ATI have software bugs and hardware realibility issues. ATI change my card 3 times due to HW failure. ATI tv cards don't run well with Windows Media Center.

Pinacle HDTV hardware is good. The software is always late.

That is a single tuner version of the 2250. That will work but its limited to one TV Tuner. When recording a specific channel it can't view another.

Also the 2250 has a media center kit which may not be included on the 1250

Thanks leon2006, I probably won't use it much, but would be cool to have. I can get a new 1250 (1201 newer version than 1196) on ebay for $53 w/ship, and I just sold a bunch of ram so I have paypal money, so I think I'll do that. thanks again.
