I have a new 32" 1080p viewsonic TV ... Model number VT3245.
My video card is a XFX HD-577A-ZNDC Radeon HD 5770 XXX Edition 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card.

Video Card Link For specs.

Tv specs.

When I use a HDMI cable it has a border around the outside of the screen .

When I use a VGA cable with a dvi converter on my video card it shows full screen.

When I check my device manager my driver for my tv shows generic PNP monitor .

It says to upgrade the driver but they only have support on the website for Win XP when I am running Win 7 32bit .

Maybe someone can help me figure this one out.

Also my drivers for my video card came from the XFX website which is the latest drivers.

I get the same thing with a radeon 4890. HDMI just throws a border around everything... drives me nuts. the video quality is so much better though i would like to solve this.
