Hi

Ive just run the 3d Mark 11 test on my new build. The RAM I am ising is the below:

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBRL

On the results page It says my memory is running at 667mhz. I thought it was 1600mhz? Have I got it wrong, how would I check the speed it is running at?

Memory 8192 MB
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Module 14096 MB G.Skill 9 @ 667 MHz

Module 24096 MB G.Skill 9 @ 667 MHz

BTW, my results were X1675, is that any good?

Your RAM is running at 1333MHz, you have to enter the BIOS at POST to change the RAM settings. First write down the latencies and the voltage printed on the RAM sticker(s). Use that info to set the RAM speed, timings, and voltage in the BIOS. Save and exit. After you boot into the OS, run 3DMark11 again.
I don't know if X1675 is good or not.

It ran like a dog mate to be fair. I'm using ther paid Advanced version I got with the GPU.

I thought iit seemed low, but had no frame of reference. When I run Crysis with everything on the highest setting (including AA) it runs like a dream.

I used the free version, and on the performance preset I am getting around P3700. When it completes it submits my score to futuremark's website and shows a graph of other users with similar rigs and their scores. That score may be normal if you are running it on extreme or something like that. BTW it does run like crap, 5-25 frames the whole way through.
