Laptop Case Itself

Hello,

I'm looking for a high-quality (I would really prefer not to have a plastic case) laptop case itself. I'm not talking about something that slips over a finished laptop, I'm talking about the thing that actually covers the components/screen. Can you buy these, and if so, where's a good place?

I don't think you can buy these as there is not standards for laptops yet. I saw that Shuttle was proposing new standards at CES, which means you could upgrade or even build your own laptop.

But I really think you won't find anything unless the manufacturer makes some thing which I doubt.
