Lpa top Shuts Down While reinstalling Installing Win XP

my lap top was having win xp service pack2 and it's RAM is 192 mb and when i tried to reinstall with winxp only, just after formatting and partition of the drives the lap top gone shut down. again i tried i could not.. because lap top is continuesly goes shut down. what can i do in this case? please help me.........................

Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

I don't think you will successfully install XP n a machine with only 192Mb of RAM. If your previous system worked at all, it's because XP was a lot smaller back in the day - it's much larger now and won't work properly and securely without SP3.
