When you create a RAID array you have to manually select which drives are to be part of the array. So, if you have 4 drives connected to ports SATA_0 thru SATA_3, you could pick the drives on ports SATA_0 & SATA_1 to RAID and ignore the other drives which would be just separate drives. mingmingbomber June 13, 2012 1:49:54 AM Best answer selected by mingmingbomber.
