Can I use a Raid and a Non Raid drives on gigabyte 880gm-d2h?

i was wondering if it's possible because in BIOS the sata ports 0-3 can be set to raid and ports 4-5 to native ide.... so can someone enlighten me please

Yes, you can. When you create a RAID array you have to manually select which drives are to be part of the array.

So, if you have 4 drives connected to ports SATA_0 thru SATA_3, you could pick the drives on ports SATA_0 & SATA_1 to RAID and ignore the other drives which would be just separate drives.
