Faulty mother board

my internet shuts down and reconnects micro soft message tells me that there is a hardware fault, I know it is the foxconn mother board, when i checked it it was hot at the connection. do i have to put the same make of mother board in or can i use a differant make and is it easy to do.hope you can help thanks in advance. bilfury

Replacing a motherboard is just like building a new computer. Almost all the parts must be disassembled from the old motherboard, and assembled on the new motherboard.

And if you are replacing the motherboard, you have the option of installing a different but compatible motherboard. Please make sure that the new motherboard socket is compatible with the CPU that you already have.
