PC wont boot with two 1 GB rams in each slot

Does it work with individual 1GB sticks?

what exactly the spec of your new RAM???

That board can handle 2x2GB so it sounds like you either:

1) have bad RAM, or
2) have inserted the RAM only partially

Solution:
Try one stick at a time. Only one of the slots should work for a single stick so read your manual.
