A770e3 after post hw monitor issue

Hi, i have:
amd am3 phenom x6 1055t
nvidia 460gtx
diablotek 600w
500gb wd 7200 rpm hdd
a770e3 mobo

anyway, i set this new build up last night and when i boot, after the post, it goes into a screen with "hardware monitor" displayed, some temp and volt info, and nothing from any of my drives load
i tried to setup a second sata drive with windows installed from my old laptop, and an old ide dvd drive (because i did not get a new one). i also tried booting from a usb drive, and still nothing

i had read somewhere that the x6 isnt supported until a bios update, so i disabled all but the main core, and it still goes to that screen
if i choose f12 to get to the boot options, it doesnt see the dvd drive (but does in the bios devices) and no matter which device i boot from, it goes back to the hardware monitor screen again instead

any ideas?

and i did check the troubleshooting section, and didnt find anything related to this, nor did i find anything like this in a search

Can you start from windows CD in the CD drive!

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM
IT TURNS OUT TO BE THE HDD'S.I HAD 2 SATA AND 1 IDE + OLD CD IDE DRIVE
AFTER I TRIED THE HDD'S ONE BY ONE IT TURNS OUT TO BE HDD RELATED OR THE MOTHERBOARD HAS PROBLEMS DETECTING OLDER HDD'S.
