GTS 250 vs HD 4850 (Gaming ,Animation and Rendering)

I have a choice between the following graphics cards...

Which is the best bang for buck???
9800 GT ($125)
9800 GTX ($140)
9800 GTX+ ($150)
GTS 250 ($144)
HD 4850 ($200)
HD 5850 ($333)
All of them 512MB RAM...

These are the only mid-end cards available in the market here...
Somewhere in the net I found that GTS 250 gives good performance but also a loud noise...Do other cards do so?
Last month I got a new core i7 920 with WX58BP workstation board with 4GB DDR3 RAM...
I have to do the theme video for our college's cultural and Technical festival...
and I have to do that within a week's time...
So, I need to buy a good graphics card for animation and rendering...I'll also use it for gaming then...
Please don't suggest Quadro or other professional cards...I can't afford to buy them...My budget is $250...

Between those,HD 5850 performs the best.
HD 4850,GTS 250,9800GTX+ and 9800GTX all perform pretty much the same(and all of them are faster than a 9800GT)
So go for HD 5850,the best option between those

OK then take a look at HD 5830:

It performs better than all of them(except for HD 5850 of course)

If you only want to choose between them they why did you ask for other recommendations ?
Anyways performance wise both 4850 and GTS 250 are pretty much the same.
About the noise levels,check this:

For animation and rendering in maya and after effects which of these cards is better?
can U provide any chart like the temp and noise chart...

Yeah thanks buddy...
So, I'll go with the GTS 250...
It is cheaper, on par with 4850, even breaks some benchmarks of HD 5770, quiet and a cool runner...
