Find Backup File After Restore

i had a virus and i did a system restore in the process a back up was recommended so i back up my files an so forth now i cant get my files and documents back

System Restore doesn't touch your documents or other data in your user account folders, so your original files should still be where you put them before running SR.

Your backup file should be wherever you chose to save it. Have a look in My Documents.
