Any bottlenecks in this rig?

Currently running a Q6600 on Asus P series mobo with 6GB DDR2, GTX470, and an 850w. I'm wondering if my processor is holding back my performance in games and I'm considering putting an E6600 in there and OCing it. Would an i7 be a smart investment with the rest of the build? Other thoughts?

A Q6600 at stock speeds may hold you back in some games,but since its got a great OC'ng potential,then try OC'ng it(if everything goes right,you can easily go more than 3.0GHz),I wouldn't recommend putting an E6600,because with Q6600 you have 2 extra cores(which some games/apps benefit) and you can OC it.

I've OCed the chip before to 3.2 on a different board but my initial attempts on this board have not been successful.

don't get E6600 it's only dual core & it will hold u back even more than ur quad. but if u still want a dual core then at-least get a core2duo E8400.
