Building new gaming pc

Im thinking off making a good gaming pc so far I was thinking of getting....

CPU/Processor: Intel Core i7 920
Motherboard: ASUS P6T6 WS REVOLUTION
Hard Drive: Samsung Spinpoint F3 2TB
Graphics Card: XFX GeForce GTX 285
Power Supply: 650W Corsair CMPSU-650TX

Could you please give comments of what you think of these components and also give sudgestions of what monitor and memory I should get, Not wanting to spend more than £1200 ish

GTX 285 isn't priced well compared to the GTX 470 and 5850 which are the same price or cheaper but are more powerful

GTX285 is a dated card. Unless you are dead set on Nvidia you want either a 5850 or a 5870 if you can afford it.
I would get a 750W PSU.
I am guessing you are going i7 for upgrade potential in future otherwise I would go with i5 750 personally

What is the difference of the i5 750 to the i7 920? Also yeah I think Ill go for the 5850, thanks.
