I think the video card is the weak link in your gaming system. It's a 4670, right? What monitor resolution do you use? For £85 the best boost to gaming would be to get a HD 4850 £62
From a purely gaming point of view I don't think either upgrade will give you much improvement for the money. This looks like a real bargain while they last which should give a real big gaming boost http://www.lambda-tek.com/componentshop/index.pl?origin=gbase8.9&prodID=B256608 . I wouldn't pay money for more DDR2 memory if it means losing what you have (the extra speed will make almost no noticeable difference) and though the extra 2 processor cores would be a bonus alot of games would take advantage of them. I suggest either the 4850 or if you want a CPU wait until you can afford a 3-4 core phenom.
WR2 you said the same as me at the same time twice(great minds think alike)
It's a 4650 1gb ddr2 and i usually play in 1024x1280 so i think i might save up for a phenom
Nice find on that 512MB HD 4850 - thats a really attractive price.
