Does the hard disk drive letter matters

So i recently reinstalled windows 7 and now my main Local disk is labeled as Local Disk (F before the re-installation it was labeled as Local Disk (C
so my question is does it really matter? if it does should i reinstall whole windows 7?

OS drive defaults to C so where did you install windows?
