Sata 3.0

Hello, Why do all the mobo that have sata/usb 3.0 capability only support
2 ports internally, and 6 usb 2.0 ports? If backward compatible , why not all sata/usb 3.0 ports?

  1. Not enough bandwith(?) (or the chipsets aren't that good enough yet, whatever). Like how sometimes when you use two graphics cards instead of one they operate at 8x 8x instead of 16x 16x.
  2. because most chipset(intel) doesn't support SATA 6/USB 3 natively on the chipset so vendors are rely on third party and that limits the bandwidth so you only see 2 ports of usb 3 and sata 6
