Sorry to be so dense but, I'm going to ask a second time because I may have left out some information on the last question and, I want to make sure before I click on the purchase button.

Spec's:

MSI 7350 motherboard V1.0
Megatrends Bios
OS-XP
2 X core 2 6600 @2.4Mhz(yes, 2 processors)
500W PS
GeForce 7900GS
PCIe 1.0 x16 SLI is connected
4Gb Ram

Question: What is the Best/most powerful Graphics card I can install using these spec's?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help, I really do appreciate you sharing your expertise.

I believe they are still compatible, just less bandwidth. the 5770 is still your best option and you should cave no problem. a 5770 won't be bottlenecked by the PCI-e bandwith either. Its basically like running it in a PCI-e 2.0 x8 slot. You'll be fine.

Maziar, Didn't you recommend the 5770 which is 2.0, Will that be compatible with my 1.0/SLI setup? And, I see there are many different HD5770, if so or, would anyone please recommend an exact model?

Thanks guys......

Yes, the 5770 is 2.0, but is compatible with the PCIe 1.0 slot, no problem. Also- you can run a single ATI on an SLI board, though you won't be able to run 2 in crossfire.
As for the model of 5770, it doesn't matter too much. As long as its a reputable brand, you'll be fine. I generally lean towards XFX as the brand as its got a double lifetime warranty as well, though otherwise, I just get whatever of the better brands is cheaper.

As i said PCI-E 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI-E 1.0,and you can use a single card on a SLI/CF motherboard, but you can't use 2 ATI cards on a SLI board and vice versa.
About the models, well brands like Sapphire,XFX,Powercolor etc are all good

True- Powercolor just tends not to have as good a reputation as some of the others. Diamond is sortof the lowest, then powercolor, and maybe gigabyte, an then Asus, HIS, etc. are a bit better, and XFX, Sapphire, etc. are the topish tier. But people go with their own experience too- if Sapphire has been bad for them in the past, tehy skip it and go for something else. It comes down to personal preference, and thats what I prefer:)
