How to reinstall srchasst inf

Search assistance not working,,,,i found the file in c:\windows\system32 and right clicked it but it has no install, so i have copied it to the clipboard looking for other options, thanks for any assistance

Here's your best option as I see it. "Insert the XP disc. Go to start-->run-->type sfc /scannow and press enter. This will scan your system files for errors, and replace any damaged files." from AFord10 here http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/252613-45-install-services-running
