Middle Screen in Eyefinity Blinking?

So I finally got Eyefinity working with my 5970, but once every 4-5 minutes the middle screen will turn black for about 5 seconds and then receive signal again.

Anyone know what could be happening?

For reference, the middle screen is connected with a DVI to Displayport active adapter which is connected to a Displayport to mini Displayport adapter which is connected to the mini DP slot in the card. The two screens on either side are connected with a VGA to DVI adapter. The screens are all 1920x1080 for a resolution of 5760x1080.

VGA to DVI, is that possible? Does the screen work by itself using Displayport?

I have the same issue. It apparently is because the voltage on the displayport is too low, and sends the monitors into powersave mode every so often. There is a bios flash, although I haven't done it yet.

VGA to DVI is possible; just have to buy a $15 VGA to DVI adapter.

I don't know what you mean by asking "does the screen work by itself." It's not a native Displayport screen, but I'm using an active Displayport to DVI adapter.

@microterf: Sorry but I'm not very "tech savvy," where do I find the bios flash and how do I do it?
