Will Phenom II X4 work if it does not say specifically?

I have my parts for my PC all picked out, I just want to get something off my chest that I was wondering about when picking my parts, on Newegg you can sort the Motherboard list by CPU type, and socket type. If I sort by AM3 socket type, will all those motherboards support the AMD Phenom II X4 even if they do not say so specifically (some will say just Phenom, not Phenom II)? Made me wonder cause in the CPU type it you can sort it my Phenom II and Phenom II X4, so makes me think that even though the boards are AM3, Phenom II's wont work.

They should. Which motherboards are you specifically looking at?

Yes all AM3 socket boards will support 125W AM3 Phenom IIs.
