Hi all, im torn between getting the E5400 and E7500 cpu's for my wife and kids to use. The main thing that they be using it for is surfing and watching movies and playing internet games. Please advice as the price difference is about $80 (Singapore Dollars)

there won't be a big difference between the two for web surfing and watching movies. I assume by internet games, you mean basic flash based and not MMOs like World of Warcraft, Age of Conan, etc., That would be a different issue.

I also have no clue what $80 Singapore dollars is equal to. For $80 US dollars its certainly not worth it.

Yeah, 5400 will be fine. If the difference wasn't so large I'd get the 7500, but its really not worth the $$$.

What about the E6700? Not much more money, they're what $99 at the moment? Compared to the $75 of the E5400.

K guys think ive finally decided to get the e5400! This is the package they offered me.

Asus P5G41-M LE + E5400 , WD 500GB (Green) , PC310600/1333 Patroit CL9(2GB) ,
PSU(Coolermaster Extreme Plus 460w) , LG GH22 22x DVD+RW IDE/SATA & Coolermaster Elite 310 = $505.00 (Singapore Dollars) Using back my old XFX 8600gt.

Maybe you bros can advice if i need something more? Or maybe I can change some of the above to a lower price but smiliar item?
