SSD compatibility with my motherboard.

Hey guys i am unsure as to which SSD i should upgrade to.

The motherboard i am using is the x58-usb3 from gigabyte. I think it only has Sata II.

And i have decided to only buy from Intel as they seem to have the most reliable drives. So the real question comes in when choosing between the 320 or 330 series.

the options are:

and

I am confused as to if my motherboards sata II will work on the sata III 330 series drive.

Sorry if i am not as technical or as smart as most of you, i am still new to building my own pcs. Thanks for reading my post!
