Geforce 230m vs Mobility Radeon 5830

Im gonna buy an HP laptop and im not sure which card is better.

Better for what? a 5830 is a mobile gaming card. A 230m is not. If all you need is a desktop card for general use, the 230M would be great and give you longer battery life. If you are going to game, get the 5830. If you aren't gaming, there is not need for a high-end mobile adapter.

Sorry, My wording sounds a little off.

The 5830 is a mobile gaming card. A 230M is a mobile card but not a mobile gaming card.. Sorry that was misleading.
