G.Skill RAM "Designed for Intel P67 motherboard"?
Jan 18, 2011, 12:36 PM
Does anyone know what or how this
was "Designed for Intel P67 motherboard"?
How? What? Better? Faster? Cooler? Redder? Shinnier?
Did they just put a new pretty heat sink on it with the fins at an angle instead of just straight up and down? Just put an "X" on the heat sink?
How would RAM be different for different MOBO's? Is this just marketing?
Inquiring minds want to know.

G. Skill says so, but the RAM has typical speed, latency and voltage of most modern Non-ECC RAM.
G. Skill has also posted that it is on the QVL for several P67-based boards.
It is actually a pretty good buy @$110 for 8GB of RAM.
