Big Difference between 23.6 and 24?

Just a quick question. I see a lot of 23.6 and 24 inch monitors with both 16:9, but the 24 is at least 20-30 dollars more expensive. Is there really that much of a difference if it was a comparable brightness, resolution, response etc...

I had posted about something similiar in the main graphics & display forum, but it got buried fast. I was waiting on a dell monitor (below) but after a month wait they delayed me another month.... and its just not worth the 190 free shipping anymore.

I've built a system with that ASUS 23.6" and it was really, really nice. Almost on par with my Samsung. The main difference seems to be that the 24" has a 2ms response time, and the 23.6" has a 5ms response time.

In my opinion, the smaller the screen for the resolution, the happier I am. I will not go below 1920x1080
Although personally I've been eying one of these:

The main dif is 1920x1080 or the slightly wider 1920x1200.

Yeah- both 16x9- the 24 isn't 16x10, though some are.

Between the two you listed, I would go for the cheaper. I don't think you'll notice the extra 0.4" much, and the 5ms response is probably still fast enough that it won't make a difference.
