Thoughts on MSI 880GMA-E45 AM# Mobo

It's part of a Newegg Shell Shocker coupled with 4GB G.Skill RAM for $75 (after $20 MIR.)

Seems like a pretty good deal. It has a couple of my punch list items - 6GB SATA and USB 3.0. Onboard video is nice too.

I'm not looking for a gaming machine. I just want something faster than my Socket 939 Athlon X2 3800+. This looks like just the ticket!

MSI any good?

I've been searching the forum for MSI and didn't see any indications of problems so I pulled the trigger on this one.

Now... To decide what to do for a processor.

MSI is utter rubbish dont go there trust me

Personal opinion! I have had 5 MSI boards along with Asus, Gigabyte and others and not one has had any issues.
