I've been planning to get an i7 860 but when I was browsing microcenter, there were i7 930 at the same price of $200. So now i'm leaning toward a 930 build. Need some input here please. I know gaming doesn't require such a high speed cpu but I just want a fast system. Anyway thanks for anyone with input, much appreciated!

The difference between the two is that the Juniper XT model has volt control and the second one seems to bring hot air back into the case.

Also, are the parts that you already bought included in the budget? or are the parts needed the only parts counted towards your budget?

i7 930 requires a 1366 mobo. i7 860 is an 1156 (P55).

I would recommend the i7-930 and the GA-x58A-UD3R (200 with Microcenter rebate). I would also recommend a good 650-750w PSU. Antec or Corsair are my personal preferences.

Mmm... being that those parts were part of the budget around 850 is left to play with.

CPU: i7 930 from MC $200
Mobo: Gigabyte X58 UD3R
PSU: Corsair 650TX
GPU: XFX 5770 XXX Edition
RAM: G. Skill Pi Series 3x2gb CAS7

Total comes to - $867.83 w/ shipping. $857.83 after MIR.

Left the option to crossfire later anyway. And then you also specified you weren't going to overclock, and yet you bought a HSF. Since you have the HSF, I think you should OC anyway.

Ohh nice, wow the mobo costs more then expected but figures since its 1366 socket and having the option to crossfire in the future is nice. I'm just waiting for deals on the parts listed before I pull the trigger.

I through in the XFX 5770 XXX Edition because of the overclock already done on it. It costs the same as the other 5770s so I figured why not?

However if you decide to crossfire it with another 5770, you should either get one clocked at the same speed or the higher clocked GPU may downclock to the lower speeds. In rare cases though, I've read about the downclocked GPU overclocking to the higherclocked GPU speeds.

That PSU can't crossfire 2 5770s as it doesn't have 2 6pin connectors.

Also, after MIR the Corsair is 69.99 while the Antec doesn't have MIR and with shipping costs a little over 80 dollars.

EDIT: My bad, it does have 2 6-Pin connectors. I'd still go with the Corsair though.
