Cost to upgrade from 32 bit to 63 bit on windows xp

i have a 32bit windows xp can i change to a 64 bit windows 7

Switching from 32 bit to 64 bit or vice-versa requires a new install of the OS. There is no in place upgrade for this. You'll need to get an upgrade disk which sounds deceiving, but it only means you are entitled to get win7 cheaper than if you don't have a previous windows OS.

Also, make sure you can get 64 bit drivers for all your hardware, including printers.
