I was thinking about buying this GPU and was wondering if that would fit in thermaltake element g? The reason I ask is some reviews say the graphics card is 10.5" but on the XFX website it says 9.5". Also was wondering if the thermaltake element g can fit another one later down the road if I decide to crossfire? And lastly, what is the biggest cpu cooler for lga 1366 socket will I be able to fit in the case?

How does the thermaltake element g case compare to the nzxt hades? was thinking either one of them.

Build consist of: i7-930, asus p6x58d-e, ocz 6gb ddr (1600), xfx 750w (just cause I don't want to buy one later when I decide to upgrade to another 5850)

Thanks for your input

From what I can tell from the Thermal take page, it will probably fit, but you will only have about 3 in of clearance I'm guesstimating. I like the look of the Thermaltake more than the Hades....decision is yours.

thanks, I think I am going to go for the thermaltake element g. By the way what is the length of hd 5850? Will a hyper 212 plus fit in this case?

^ The cases that you have in mind are good, but IMO you should check out these cases too...
CM HAF 922 - This is one of the best Mid Towers out there and it can also accomodate even the longest card - HD 5970 wihtout any issues...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Another case option -
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 - This surely can accomodate the HD 5870...but not sure about the HD 5970 though...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

And the CM Hyper 212+ will be able to fit in all the cases mentioned above but might be a tight fit for the Hades though...

Would it be better to get 2 5770 vs 1 5850? I currently have a monitor with 1280 X 1024, but in the future will upgrade to better one. Only reason I ask is because all over the internet there are posts regarding that 2 5770 will beat a 5850 and even come close to 5870. Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

^ Well as you have a 1280X1024 res monitor, I would suggest you do this...
First get a single HD 5770...It will easily max out any games out there...And alter when you upgrade the monitor, get another HD 5770...So then the prices would also have come down and like you said it will be even more powerful than the HD 5850 and comparable or better when overclocked to the HD 5870...
And also if you go this route, then drop your PSU to a Corsair/ XFX/ Seasonic/ Silverstone/ Antec TP or EA 650W...It would suffice even for 2x HD 5850s...

Looks like you've already gotten some good advice; I'll just add this: The Cooler Master Hyper 212+ will *not* fit in the Hades unless you remove the side 200mm fan.
