5750 black stripes

Hello,
I have been using my computer today and when I'm browsing the web the screen suddenly goes from normal output to black and white stripes. This is fixed when I reboot my machine and then happens again some time later.
Is my graphics card on the way out because I've only just bought it (last Thursday) or is it overheating?
