How to update BIOS

Follow the motherboard manufacturer's directions, either from their website or from your motherboard manual. In most cases, you will have to download a file from their site, then select an option from the bios to update to that file, which you will place on a USB key and insert into the computer. Many companies also support flashing the bios from within windows.
