Can i uninstall & then reinstall windows

My computer keeps shutting down after only a few minutes. When it does an error code 5 comes up. What to do?

Could you provide more information about the error code? Is the computer running hot before it shuts down?
"Error Code 5
System error code 5 means "Access is denied." This error code may also display as "ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED" or as the value 0x5."
