What is the real world speed of SSD's? I am pretty sure that you will not start downloading something at 500mb/s. There would be some bottleneck right? Like internet speed?

The real world speed of consumer SSDs is "fast enough for any practical application"

There's no noticeable difference between any top tier SSD and many people will not be able to tell the difference between a top tier SSD and a mid range SSD.

There are certainly differences in synthetic benchmarks but these are not reflective of real world performance.

the download speed has nothing to do with hard disk speed, and hard disk speed will never be the bottleneck in the downloading process
