Hi this is my first post on these forums. Looking to build my first PC.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: within a month

BUDGET RANGE: 850 with monitor

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, speakers, OS

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: would like stuff with good warranty, makes me feel warm and fuzzy

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe down the road

MONITOR RESOLUTION: whatever works best within the budget without looking terrible. I game on home consoles mainly now so any res will be better than my 720p tv. Also would like 19in or more.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: all I want is to play games on highest settings possible while fitting budget and have a system that’s easily upgradable. If it looks better than a game on 360 or Ps3 I will be happy.

So this will be my first time building a computer. Im getting out of console gaming except for my Wii and DS, im a Nintendo fan boy I guess. I have not owned a computer for gaming in about 5 years or more. Im really excited to do this and all the help on builds and any tips are much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

CPU: X3 425 $70
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 $125 after rebate
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $120
GPU: HD 5770 $160
HDD: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB $55
Case/PSU: Antec 300 Illusion and Earthwatts 650W $115
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $20
Monitor: Asus 23" 1080p $180 after rebate

Total: $845. You'll likely need to play with some lowered details at 1900x with this build, but once you drop in a second 5770, you'll be just great.

Awesome thank you very much and you did that in like 10 min lol. Once some of my stuff sells will be buying all this and building myself.
