rightyo I'm building my first rig i've got the cm storm scout case the asus p7p55d duluxe mobo and the cm silent pro 700W psu. im trying to connect the case fans for which i have 3 one at the front and two at the back. the only cables i have left to connect in the case are the 4-pin molex one which i think supply the power for the fan and the lights on the fans i have no cable to plug into the cha_fan1 and cha_fan2 on the mobo. What am i doing wrong where are these cables or do i just leave them like the pwr_fan?

thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Sounds like the CM Storm Scout case fans only have the large molex connectors and not the smaller 3 or 4 pin connectors for the motherboard chassis fan headers. You'll need to hook up the fans to a molex lead from the power supply or they will not run.

right thanks a lot so i don't really need to plug the fans into the mobo as long as there connected to the psu and it just means i probably wont be able to use the the "fan xpert" feature to monitor fan speed.

thanks again
