I was considering using G.Skill ECO 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333 CL7 ram with a Crosshair IV Formula Mobo. Would this be a good match? It seems like most builders are opting for the CL9 memory with this board!

Actually I couldn't find the set cheaper than about $160 a set, which was about $40 or $50 higher than most other sets of this type. The main reason I chose these was reputation, CAS 7-7-7-21, Heat Spreader, Low Profile, and 1333's. However another builder with my configuration has installed a ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-R Cooler and says that his Ripjaws cleared it, so that's what I'm gonna go with.

BTW here is my build list:

Case: Antec Dark Fleet DF-85 Gaming Case
PSU: Cooler Master 1000W Silent Pro Modular 80 Plus Bronze
Mobo: ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
CPU: AMD Phenom II 1090T Black
GPU: Sparkle Calibre X460G GeForce GTX460 1 GB 256bit GDDR5
CPU Cooler: ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-R
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1-2 TB (Model Something or other)undecided!
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB (2x4GB) 1333 Model F3-10666CL7-8GBRH
CD/DVD Burner: ASUS Black 24x 2M Cache Bulk OEM(This may change)
SSD: Crucial Real SSD C300 CTFDDAC064MAG-1G1 64GB SATA III MLC Internal
