im building a Core i7-860 system. Any advices or suggestions

Welcome to the forum.

I recommend that you fill out the form in my signature, but here's some suggestions.

I would recommend a different GPU such as the 5750, but this may change when you repost. Also you could probably drop the sound card. Then switch out the Dominators for a set like this

Another note, you have a crossfire capable motherboard with just a 500W PSU. Not really a problem, just making sure that you knew.

I am guessign you are not a gamer? If you are then definately change that GPU, in fact, even if you are not I would probably consider going with a different GPU, at least a 5750 like jbakerlent has mentioned.

Assuming you are not a gamer and you are going to be using one of these weaker graphic cards, I would consider dropping down to a motherboard without Crossfire/SLI as it would be fairly pointless without powrful cards to use
