Ordered memory for my new i5-2500k + Asus sabertooth p67 motherboard and paid more than I planned, because I was searching the QVL from asus til I found a matching set of memory that they approved of. Today I was just reviewing my order before it arrives tommorow and noticed a possible problem.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH

This is directly from Asus's supported QVL memory list
G.SKILL F3-12800CL7D-8GBRH(XMP) 4GB ( 2x 2GB ) DS - - 7-8-7-24 1.6 ● ● ●

Really wish I had noticed this last night but it was late and I was rushing to try and get order in and hit the hay.

Newegg 8gb ( 2 x 4gb)

Asus 4gb ( 2 x 2gb)

Anyone think I'm gonna run into a problem here.

I don't think so. The never get around to test all the available ram on the market and yours has the same specs.

Thats a good fact to hear. Kind of makes me wish I would have just gone with the set of g-skills that I had picked as they had about the same specs with a $50.00 cheaper price tag. But had seen enough ppl recommend using the QVL that I figured I would play it safe since this is first time building my own.

Appreciate the answer.
