TRAOD: 0 = Decreased Volume & Non-Working Key Functions

Hello

I'm using XP Pro (SP1), have a PIII 800, 384 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce2
MX/MX 400, Legacy (generic?) CMI8738/C3DX PCI Audio Device (I think
that covers most of the computer info). And I've updated all of the
drivers for DirectX 9.0 and for the GeForce2.

My first problem is that when I push the 0 (zero) button, the volume
goes all the way to zero. I then have to close the game and turn the
volume back up, or just play with no sound. I've looked around for a
way to turn this off. But I see that I need the 0 for Look. When I try
to Look, the volume goes down.

The second problem is that the only F button that works, is F5. And
this only allows me to save one game at a time. So if I need to go way
back (if I missed something), then I can only go back as far as my
last save.

So there's something messed up and I'm wondering if there is a patch
for this. I've spend many hours looking around for a patch, but the
only one I found that seemed like it would work had a virus in it.

This is the second time I've installed it. And the install went well,
without any problems. Any advice with this would be greatly
appreciated. I'm not a total beginner with the computers, but I'm
can't tweak codes and stuff either. Sort of in the middle.

Thanks,
Billy
