  1. APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: next two weeks BUDGET RANGE: 3000 $ tops

    SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Little Gaming, Tonz of heavy duty multi tasking and photo/movie editing.

    PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor

    PARTS PREFERENCES: Manufacturer mentioned in cfg list

    OVERCLOCKING: Yes, and future CrossfireX with and additional ATI Card

    MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1200

    ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I want it to be as quiet as possible.

  2. Mobo looks fine.
    Do you really need a $1,000 CPU?
    Don't need 2000MHZ RAM, can go well over 4ghz on 1600 RAM.

    These G SKill PI are great, but be aware not all HSF's fit on it. The CM Hyper 212 plus which I recommend you get, does fit.

    HD wise you're better off with SPinpoint f3's $90 for 1TB. Or is fact, some SSD's.

    GPU, don't bother with factory OC GPU's You're paying them $50 to press 4 buttons for you in ATI Overdrive.

    PSU wise don't need anything that high. Grab a nice Seasonic 750W like this one.

    Also, do you know what CUDA is, and do you need it? If so you'll have to go nVidia.
  3. 1000w isn't really neccesary and get a higher quility brand like corsair. Can you give me a link to that ram? If you want to OC you need a heatsink. can you list prices aswell? Have you considered an SSD?
