Hello,
My anti-virus files got corrupted due to sudden shut down of my PC. I tried to run chkdsk utility but no use even after the system re-start. It says, 'cannot create the respective files. Acces is denied.' What to do now?
Does it have to do with the attributes of corresponding folder?

Install a new anti-virus tool

Good advice but not the best product in the circumstances in my opinion. SAS is fine for clearing up malware attacks after the event but a decent, free AV is finally been developed by Microsoft for use on its own products. M$ Security Essentials is available in 32 and 64 bit formats from their website and it is effective in partnership with Windows Defender.
